About Horton:

Horton is a happy peaceful elephant that was created by Dr. Seuss for a children’s illustrated book. He first appeared in Dr Seuss’s fourth children’s book "Horton Hatches the Egg". In 1942 it was made into a cartoon by Warner Brothers. In 1954 Horton appears again in Dr Seuss’s book "Horton Hears a Who" This was also made into a cartoon in 1970. In these stories Horton represents kindness, trustworthiness and perseverance in a comical well illustrated children’s book.
